Wedding venues that allow for an all-outdoor event are often my favorites, which is why I just adore working at Franciscan Gardens in San Juan Capistrano. Jessica and Anthony’s romantic white and green wedding had every bit of elegance and charm, and I can’t express just how much I loved capturing this special celebration for them. (WARNING: more love confessions ahead)
Engagements season is still in full swing and I’m editing up a storm over here!
Beatrice and Albert’s engagement session started at the historic Mission San Juan Capistrano. Every single corner of the grounds is like a postcard with so many cute little nooks for gorgeous photos! Afterwards we stopped at a nearby park for some golden hour photos in the field. It was my first time meeting Beatrice and Albert in person, so I absolutely loved this time that we got to spend together. Not only are they impossibly beautiful together but also two of the sweetest people!

Film scans from Claire and Brian’s maternity session arrived early and I just couldn’t not share a few of my favorites from this dreamy shoot today! Southern California is having a super bloom and all the flower fields are making me so happy. I mean, how absolutely gorgeous is all this color and of course, that beautiful golden light.
Claire and Brian will be welcoming their baby girl in just under 2 months and I am so excited for them!

Meet Bacon, the most adorable four month old goldendoodle. His parents, Latvia-born beauty Inese and California native Matt, met on the east coast and have been married for seven years.
Matt and Inese reached out to me to do a photo shoot with the newest addition to the family. They are both wedding photographers, and getting booked by fellow photographers was such a treat and the ultimate compliment! We did Bacon's portrait session at San Juan Capistrano. The park that the guys picked was the idyllic setting for this family shoot - so much greenery and a vast flower field in bloom that was nearby. Bacon behaved splendidly and the following day he was treated to a well-deserved grooming session, although if I were him I would have requested his namesake treat instead! (But that's just me :)
