Lorraine and Carlos laughed the afternoon away during their uber romantic engagement session at Griffith Park. After 12 years of dating, these sweethearts officially got engaged and I got to be the lucky photographer to capture their engagement photos. It was amazing witnessing firsthand the love and dedication these two have for each other!

Griffith Park was the perfect location to shoot their engagement session. As a photographer, my priorities are always pretty light, soft background and a couple who are as in love with each other (and as stylish!) as these two. I so look forward to photograph their wedding next spring!

I met up with Wendy and Morris for their engagement session at Griffith Park on a beautiful spring day. Both of them looked absolutely lovely and it was so nice catching up with them. What made it even better is both Wendy and Morris are super laid back, witty and smart, so it was a blast spending time with them. I also love shooting at Griffith Park because there are gorgeous hills and greenery everywhere. This was such a great engagement session, and I cannot wait for their summer wedding!

Let's be honest, if there is a right way when it comes to celebrating a new life, it is while drinking afternoon tea at the luxurious and elegant Beverly Hills Peninsula hotel. Ariana's bridal shower took place at one of their whimsical and airy private rooms, the Magnolia Room. Completely designed and styled by Ariana's mother, Lynn, the room was filled with overwhelmingly thoughtful details. The theme was build around the tales by Beatrix Potter, which were Ariana's favorite as a child, and the space was decorated with soft blush and fresh pastel greens to celebrate sweet baby girl on the way. This is just the kind of baby shoer that makes your heart flutter.

After a busy wedding season full of heartwarming traditions and fun surprises, I thought I’ve seen it all but nothing could have prepared me for this beautiful wedding of Allison and Jon at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. From the gorgeous bride to the absolutely rocking Moroccan themed Henna afterparty, it was definitely a night to remember. Here is a peek of their wedding day!

This engagement session was a real adventure. We started off slow at the Pasadena City Hall and then headed over to the Colorado Street Bridge where things got a little more interesting. Figuring out how to get next to the bridge by foot was tricky (it took some long distance walking and hiking:) but so worth it! Life is a ride full of little adventures and I love the responsibility of capturing it all for my couples! What a fun engagement session!!

One of the many reasons I love doing engagement sessions is that I get a sneak peak at what the couple’s wedding will be like, before all of the guests arrive and distract them from their love for each other. Kokie and Anthony were amazing, and truly made this a fun engagement shoot. They brought cupcakes, balloons, and boba tea from their favorite cafe (enough to share with their photographer:))
