Polyna and Alex might love travel as much as I do. They got engaged over the holidays when traveling across Europe and Alex proposed in the most romantic city in the world - Paris! But travel definitely doesn't stop there for these two because they will be heading to Venice, Italy for their honeymoon! This made Venice Canals the perfect place to take their engagement pictures. I am so happy for them and cannot wait to photograph their wedding in April!

On a rainy Friday afternoon last week, I found myself back in Pasadena City Hall for Elizabeth and David's engagement session. It was pouring all day with no sign of blue skies but nothing was stopping these two! When we started shooting their engagement session, it was still drizzling and then something magical happened - about 30 minutes before sunset, it stopped raining and the sun came out. We came to Will Rogers Memorial Park for Nicole and Joubin for their engagement session -- it was such a beautiful day and the light was absolutely magical. I seriously cannot wait wait to photograph their wedding in spring! There really isn't anything sweeter than bringing a little one into this world. And this yellow elephant inspired baby shower was the perfect way to get the whole family together at the Westlake Village Inn to celebrate a new life. All the details were so perfectly styled and put together by Flavia, who is the principal of the company, Allure Events Atelier. This Valentine's Day weekend was sure filled with love and some quality family time.

After a busy wedding season full of heartwarming traditions and fun surprises, I thought I’ve seen it all but nothing could have prepared me for this beautiful wedding of Allison and Jon at Hummingbird Nest Ranch. This engagement session was a real adventure. We started off slow at the Pasadena City Hall and then headed over to the Colorado Street Bridge where things got a little more interesting. Figuring out how to get next to the bridge by foot was tricky (it took some long distance walking and hiking:) but so worth it! Life is a ride full of little adventures and I love the responsibility of capturing it all for my couples! What a fun engagement session!!
